September 15 is Going to Be a Bad Day for Xbox Game Pass Subscribers
September 15 is going to be a bad day for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, as that’s when the service is losing a whopping 11 games.
Well, it was previously a rumor, but Microsoft has now confirmed that 11 games will be removed from Xbox Game Pass on September 15th.
The games that are being removed are A Plague Tale: Innocence, Aragami 2, Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling, Craftopia, Final Fantasy 13, Flynn: Son of Crimson, I Am Fish, Lost Words: Beyond the Page, Mighty Goose, SkateBird, and The Artful Escape.
We’re not sure why Microsoft is removing these games from the service, but you can purchase them for a 20% discount while they are still available on the service.
Game Pass has been a success for Microsoft, but it is concerning to see games removed from the service. Especially as Google and Amazon up the ante with their own game streaming services.
The games being removed aren’t smash hits, but they are games that can complete a collection or burn time. Time will tell how many more titles Microsoft will eventually remove from the service.
Obviously, the titles we care the most about are original Xbox and Xbox 360 titles potentially being removed from the service.
